Setting Up the Agility DK Design Suite Working Environment
To set up the Agility DK Design Suite working environment:
Make sure you have installed the following versions of the Quartus II software and the DK Design Suite software:
Agility
Altera
DK Design Suite version 5.0 SP4
Quartus II
version 8.0
This version of the DK Design Suite software supports the APEX II, Cyclone, Cyclone II, Cyclone III, Stratix, Stratix GX, Stratix II, and Stratix II GX device families.
Note: The Quartus II Software Release Notes are available on the Altera website and provide up-to-date information on which versions of Agility applications the current version of the Quartus II software supports. The Quartus II readme.txt file provides information on installation and operating requirements. You should read the Release Notes and readme.txt file before installing the Quartus II software. After installation, you can open the Release Notes and readme.txt file from the Quartus II Help menu.
To run an EDA design entry/synthesis, simulation, or timing analysis tool automatically from the Quartus II software using the NativeLink feature, you must specify the location of executable files for third party EDA tools by clicking Options on the Tools menu, and then clicking EDA Tool Options.
