Extended Temperature Device Support
Altera's extended temperature product offerings allow you to use FPGAs and CPLDs in high-temperature environments such as automotive telematics, infotainment, and driver assistance systems, as well as temperature-sensitive military and industrial applications.
As automotive electronics continue to rapidly add more functionality and features, Altera® FPGAs and CPLDs offer many benefits over ASSP or ASIC solutions. These benefits include lower overall development costs, shorter development times, and the ability to leverage a single-chip solution over a wide range of product offerings.
Table 1 shows the temperature ranges for Altera devices.
