Online Ordering Improves Availability of Altera Products in Japan

Tokyo, July 31, 2007—Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced that its products are now available for sale through the Japanese website of Digi-Key, a major online vendor of electronic components.

Orders submitted through Digi-Key’s Japanese website are delivered within three business days of purchase. Altera's portfolio of programmable solutions handled by Digi‑Key include the Arria™ GX FPGA family, Cyclone^® FPGA series, Stratix^® FPGA series, MAX^®II CPLD family, MAX3000A CPLD family, Cyclone III and Cyclone II starter development kits, MAX II development kits and configuration devices.
